ELEVATOR’S GUIDE RAILS
Elevator guides are critical components for the installation and operation of elevators.
They are available in different materials, including steel and aluminium, and can be made using two different techniques: drawing or machining.
The drawn guides are obtained by cold drawing a profile with an empty section. This technique ensures good dimensional accuracy and good mechanical strength of the final product.
Also, drawn guides are generally cheaper than machined guides.
The machined guides, on the other hand, are obtained through the mechanical processing of a metal bar.
This technique makes it possible to obtain profiles with a complex section and high dimensional precision. Additionally, machined guides are generally stronger than drawn guides and are often used in critical applications where greater accuracy is required.
In both cases, the elevator guides are designed to ensure smooth and safe movement of the elevator car along the travel. They are available in different lengths and sections, so that they can be adapted to the specific needs of each installation.
